Born in Lima, Peru, Dana attended a private school called"Antonio Raimondi", where she experienced her first ballet class. Although ballet in Raimondi only lasted a few years, Dana continued to learn and perform Peruvian and Italian folkloric dances in her school shows, as well as taking part in an after school team that practiced modern dancing.
At the age of nine, Dana and her mother moved to Florida, USA. Despite the change, Dana continued to dance, forming part of a small studio where she practiced ballet, jazz and hip hop. In 2009 she learned the art of gymnastics and became a competitive gymnast for 4 years (continuing to dance on the side).
At the age of 14, Dana left gymnastics and auditioned for Dance Empires Elite school in Miami and made it! This is where her dance training became serious for 2 years, practicing styles such as: ballet, contemporary, musical theater, modern, ballroom, hip hop, etc, before she started an art she had admired since she was a little girl: the Aerial Silks.
In a small Miami aerial arts studio she began her training (aerial silks, lyra, pole) and was given the opportunity to work as a professional dancer in events and performances at the age of 17! Dana felt that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so she decided to join Studio 33s competitive dance team, a studio in which she had continued taking dance classes during her aerial training.
After graduating from high school, Dana continued her professional Aerial and Dance career, advancing her training in South Florida studios, ATL studios, New York City studios during intensive weeks of training and, eventually, winning a dance scholarship to train in London for 8 days.
At the age of 21, Dana has danced with Lil Kim, Nervo Music, Justin Quiles, Zion and Lenox, Wisin, and El Micha.
She is currently the official dancer of the new Nickelodeon TV series (Latin America) named "Club 57", and had the opportunity to be featured as an aerial dancer for a Prince Royce ft. Marc Anthony music video called "Adicto".
